This device uses GPS to track a driver's current location, then using a stored database, the device provides feedback to the driver based on speed limits, driving habits and other data. The device also records this information for the driver's insurance company. Performance information as well as emergency contacts are made using the GSM cellular connection to a call center.

This device had to start hardware development before final system requirements were available. Spectrum got prototypes built in a very short time, allowing initial software development to begin, then worked with the customer to implement changes to bring the final device to completion.
